Edwina McDunnough

Living… in Tempe, Arizona, with her husband Herbert I. (“Hi” for short) McDunnough. They couldn't afford a place of their own, so her father bought them a small house.

Profession… police officer. Edwina (or “Ed” for short) was good at it and was twice decorated, but she tendered her badge after she met Hi at the police station. He was there for writing hot checks, and it was love at first sight.                        

Interests… having a baby. Ed can’t think of anything else. She and Hi work on it all the time, but it just hasn't happened yet.

Relationship Status… depressing. Ed used to think that there was too much love and beauty for just Hi and her that they needed a baby in their lives. But now everything is falling apart. As she says to Hi, “You and me's just a fool's paradise.”     

Challenge… not getting caught. They were reading about the quints that were just born – Harry, Barry, Larry, Garry, and Nathan Jr. They thought it was unfair that some should have so many while others should have so few. So she made Hi take one of them. The newspaper is saying there is a rumor that Nathan Jr. was abducted by UFOs so no one suspects them yet.

Personality… responsible. At least, she used to be. Ed even swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States. But now she’s determined to get a baby no matter the cost to her honor.
