Overview… the Forger. When Dominic Cobb wants to perform inception – planting an idea in someone’s subconscious by infiltrating his or her dream – it is Eames whom he approaches for help. As one of the best forgers in the business, Eames possesses the ability to project the appearance of different people in the dream world, allowing him to convince and manipulate his marks. Moreover, he intuitively understands the intricacies of human behavior; it’s what makes him an excellent conman and thief.
Personality… charismatic, innovative, and daring. Eames is a smooth talker, but don’t let his insouciant demeanor fool you – he is very good at what he does. Although Cobb may be the leader of their team, Eames is the one with the ideas. He thinks in terms of the larger picture; it’s no wonder the forger gets frustrated with fellow team member Arthur’s focus on “specificity.” However, as he admonishes Arthur, “You mustn’t be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.”
