Living... alone at the Beverly Royale Hotel in Beverly Hills. Dylan might be one of the only kids at school who lives alone. He says that he is gradually divorcing his parents, while they are gradually divorcing each other.
Profession... sophomore at West Beverly Hills High. But because of his father’s success as a shady businessman, Dylan has the luxury of not having to worry much about his grades. Although he is not into school, he is an intellectual and even dabbles in poetry.
Interests... surfing, watching classic movies, riding motorcycles. He can be a bit of a loner, but he has become friends with a new guy at school, Brandon, who moved to Beverly Hills from Minnesota.
Relationship Status… detached. Looking like James Dean, Dylan has his choice of women. But he doesn’t tend to get too close to anyone. Though that might be changing now that he met Brenda, Brandon’s strong-willed and beautiful fraternal twin sister.
Challenge... feeling depressed. Although it seems that Dylan has it all, he is constantly brooding. And he has been turning to alcohol to cope with life.
Personality... “mad, bad, and dangerous to know” according to Dylan. He’s a rebel who doesn't care what others think, but he is not as bad as he advertises to be. He is deep and thoughtful and can be a good friend when it counts. He doesn’t have a lot of friends, but for Dylan it’s not about quantity; it’s quality.
