Duncan Kane

Grew Up… in a mansion with his parents and sister. His father is a billionaire software developer and his mother is a socialite. He had a happy childhood, playing sports and making lots of friends alongside his sister, Lilly. He is the most popular guy in school and was in a long-term relationship with Veronica until Lilly was murdered.

Living… in his parent’s mansion. On the night of Lilly’s murder, Veronica found Duncan covered in blood, seemingly in a catatonic state.

Profession… high school student. His main job is to get good grades, do well in all of his extracurricular activities, and participate in sports so that he can get into a good college.

Interests… sports and student government.

Relationship Status… single. After mysteriously breaking up with Veronica, completely ignoring her existence, and never giving a reason for the split, Duncan hasn’t dated anyone. Though it seems as if he has lingering feelings for Veronica, it’s unclear if they’ll ever get back together, especially since her father accused his father of Lily's murder.

Challenge… dealing with the death of his sister. Immediately after Lilly died, Duncan was a shell. His parents put him on anti-depressants, in hopes of stabilizing his moods and he spent most of his time in a sort of haze. It’s clear that he’s trying to lead a normal life, but even when he puts on a brave face, there is a deep sadness lurking underneath. 

Personality… bright, youthful, outgoing, and happy before Lilly died. Though he was shy and more reserved than his best friend Logan, he knew how to have a good time. After Lilly’s death, Duncan remained best friends with Logan, though their friendship would never be the same. Duncan became even more reserved and subdued and Logan became cynical and outwardly hostile towards nearly everyone. The ultimate difference between the two is that Duncan always tries to do the right thing, even when it’s very difficult.
