Character Analysis

Overview... goofy man-child whose girlfriend Dory cares more about solving some random disappearance than hearing him play ukulele. They didn’t know Chantal Winterbottom that great in college, but since she’s gone missing, Dory has been obsessed with finding her. And she’s dragging Drew in. That means he has to try being polite while getting a tazer from their scary neighbor and following a potential suspect to his office.
Personality... sweet, polite, and conflict-averse. He doesn’t fit in at his Wall Street internship and he’s in a static relationship with Dory, but he’s too passive to do anything about it. When he suspects Dory has slept with her ex, he asks to meet up with the guy, but he’s so afraid of confrontation that he brings the ex a milkshake. He’s not interested, so then Drew is stuck holding two milkshakes. Poor guy.
