Overview... an underground rapper rising to the top. Dr. Dre forms a bond with Ice Cube, another young rapper from Compton, a neighborhood in California where gang violence runs rampant. Dre doesn’t want to take a steady job, but he also doesn’t want to sucked into the gang life. He forms his own niche with the rap group N.W.A., along with Ice Cube, Eazy-E, and Arabian Prince.
Personality… defiant, musical, and artistic. Dr. Dre sets out to reinvent the wheel of gangster rap. He’s focused on social commentary, preaching about the hardships in Compton with police and gang violence alike.
