Overview... a single mom who dreams big. Dorothy was the only other worker at her whole agency to follow sports agent Jerry Maguire out into the world of independence, even when she was overdue for a promotion. Dorothy did it simply because Dorothy believes Jerry has real moral fiber. Dorothy hopes to take the entertainment business by storm, reforming its ironies and hypocrisies from the bottom up.
Personality… hopeful and responsible. Dorothy is a proud mother of her beautiful young boy, but she can’t help but resent others her age for having the freedom to go out and party. But now she has Jerry Maguire, a thought-provoking, inspirational boss, who promises to be there for her – for better or worse.

Jerry Maguire used to be a typical sports agent: willing to do just about anything he could to get the biggest possible contracts for his clients, plus a nice commission for himself. Then, one day, he suddenly has second thoughts about what he's really doing. When he voices these doubts, he ends up losing his job and all of his clients, save Rod Tidwell, an egomaniacal football player.
