Donna Noble

Grew Up... on 21^st century Earth, in the city of London. Though she frequently squabbled with her mother, Donna, she had a generally normal childhood, spending most of it raising hell for her teachers and stargazing with her granddad.

Living... in a bit of a slump, “waiting for the right man.” Donna is not just waiting for any old Mr. Right, however – she's waiting for the Doctor, a “mad” time-traveling alien who accidentally ruined and saved her life two years ago. Inspired by her brief adventure with him, Donna vowed that she was “going to travel the world” and really change her life. But Earthly travel failed to quench Donna's wanderlust, and now she's got her sights set higher: the stars.

Visiting... the whole of time and space, with the help of the Doctor and his TARDIS. Unlike most of the Doctor’s companions, Donna was well prepared when he picked her up, as she always keeps her bags packed “just in case.”

Profession... unemployed, something her mother isn't very happy about. Sylvia Noble knows her daughter is bored, but she doesn't think that's a reason to mope around – after all, “no one’s going to come along with a magic wand and make your life all better." Technically she's right: the TARDIS isn't a wand, just a highly advanced piece of Time Lord technology.

Interests... seeing the stars up close and personal. However, that doesn't mean she can't have Earthly interests, too, and there's little Donna loves more than hats, a good cup of coffee, and partying – but not if people are partying without her. That’s just rude.

Relationship Status... single, after a rather nasty falling out with the man she was going to marry. Donna is now in love with the idea of traveling the stars, though not necessarily with “long streak of nothing” she's traveling with.

Challenge... saving the world, while helping the Doctor out of his current funk. The Doctor doesn't have a good track record with previous companions, and while he wasn’t going to turn Donna down, he's afraid that traveling with him can only hurt her. Donna's convinced, however, that she can cheer him up – but staying alive is another challenge altogether, especially when they seem to keep on encountering hostile aliens everyone they land.

Personality...fiery, sassy, and highly determined. Occasionally bossy and boisterous, Donna is quick to blame the Doctor when things inevitably go sour. But she refuses to let his shortcomings stop her from enjoying her trip through the cosmos. Like everyone else, she has her insecurities and can fall into occasional slumps, but for the most part, she manages to keep her spirits and good humor up.
