Overview… a man who is dealing with an enormous past mistake. In exchange for youth, Doctor Parnassus guaranteed to give Mr. Nick – the Devil himself – his own child by the time she becomes of age. With the 16th birthday of his beloved daughter, Valentina, fast approaching, Doctor Parnassus is running out of time and options. Luckily, Mr. Nick agrees to one more bargain: Valentina will belong to whoever “wins” five souls first. Now the game is afoot and this time, Doctor Parnassus can’t afford to lose.
Personality… imaginative but tired. Doctor Parnassus is a man with many stories, but nobody wants to listen anymore. His rundown theatre troupe barely gets an audience, even on a good night, and his own daughter is just raring to find a more exciting vocation. Yes, the world has certainly changed over the years of Doctor Parnassus’ substantial life. Unfortunately, he hasn’t.
