Dionne Davenport

Living… as one of the most popular girls in school along with her best friend Cher. She’s got a total fashion sense and is supportive in all her friend’s good-gooder antics. According to Cher: “Dionne and I were both named after famous singers of the past, who now do infomercials.” This may be true, but Dionne is no stranger to being totally fly.

Profession… student at Bronson Alcott High School, but after school hours she’s living it up at parties and riding shotgun in Cher’s convertible.

Interests… fashion, shopping, and parties. 

Relationship Status… dating Murray Duvall. Rocking Baggy pants and a backward baseball cap, Murray is one of the coolest guys in school. The couple find themselves in frequent spats and are known to be on and off again, but Dionne and Murray’s relationship remains a constant throughout Cher’s more unfortunate struggles with romance.  

Challenge… helping Cher play matchmaker to two lonely teachers at their school, and helping quirky girl Tai find her place in their popular clique.

Personality… intelligent, level-headed, and social. Dionne is independent, and somewhat of a feminist. She isn’t afraid of telling off her boyfriend when he says something stupid. She tells him: “Murray, I have asked you repeatedly not to call me woman.” Dionne is confident, and nothing holds her back!
