Danny Rose

Living… in New York City. He’s not exactly the most lucrative talent manager in New York, but his wild misadventures are widely circulated by comedians.

Profession… a struggling talent manager in a one-person talent agency. His clients are pretty universally untalented, but he still works hard to get them gigs.  Danny dreams of becoming successful, but never at the expense of those he represents.

Interests… his clients’ every need. In fact, one of his singers, Lou, has a big gig at the Waldorf Astoria. But Lou needs to hide his mistress, Tina, from his wife, so he asks Danny to pretend to be her boyfriend

Relationship Status… pretending to be Tina's boyfriend. However, Tina's ex-boyfriend is in the mob, and seeing Tina with Danny, he orders a hit on the manager. However, could there be an actual spark of romance between Danny and Tina? Although the two bicker at first, it's clear they have chemistry.

Challenge… staying alive, avoiding the mob, and getting to the Waldorf in time for Lou's big performance – if it’s possible to do all that. Will Lou cheat on him with another manager, just like he cheats on his wife? And will Danny’s talent agency ever have a big star?

Personality… nervous and neurotic, but incredibly loyal. Although he's often stressed and will say things to save his own skin, he always does the right thing in the end. In fact, when Danny reveal a client’s location to the mob, and that client gets injured, he pays the hospital bills. He explains his simple wisdom about life's mishaps: "You know what my philosophy of life is? That it's important to have some laughs, but you gotta suffer a little too, because otherwise you miss the whole point to life."
