Overview… an organic hot dog vendor and Wesleyan University ethnomusicology graduate (it’s the “Harvard of central Connecticut!”) who is dating Liz Lemon. Even when Liz’s boss Jack Donaghy disapproves of their relationship because of Criss’ laid-back nature, Liz continues their relationship and ultimately finds all of Criss’ quirks (like writing songs on his guitar for every occasion) endearing.
Personality… loving, off-beat, and relaxed. Criss perfectly complements the uptight and neurotic Liz. Criss is a dedicated partner, willing to sacrifice his own entrepreneurial endeavors for the good of the relationship.

Liz Lemon is the head writer and occasional actress on the TV sketch-comedy show TGS with Tracy Jordan. As the creator of the show, she often feels it necessary to micro-manage lest it be ruined, in large part due to the incompetence and immaturity of of her crew and melodramatic stars. And she has to manage upwards too: her boss Jack Donaghy is an egomaniac.
