Overview... a blind warrior-priest on the moon Jedha who is strong with the Force. Chirrut believes the Force will keep him safe – his oft-repeated mantra is “I am with the Force, the Force is with me” – but his good friend Baze Malbus keeps his blaster ready just in case. Chirrut and Baze meet a young woman named Jyn Erso and Alliance intelligence officer Cassian Andor and soon join their efforts to locate secret plans that could help destroy the Empire’s new super-weapon, the Death Star.
Personality... optimistic, brave, and fearless. Chirrut is a true believer. Though if you saw the way he fights off multiple stormtroopers armed only with a simple staff – and did we mention he’s blind? – you’d probably believe in the Force too. He is afraid of nothing, not even death. Chirrut is more than willing to lay down his life for the forces of good.
