Charlie Harding

Living... in Laguna Beach California with his mom and brother Henry. After a recent hit-and-run accident that violently killed his father, nothing is the same. His father is suddenly gone, and a crazy woman named Judy Hale has come to stay with them. His mom took Judy into their guest house after bonding with her at a grief meeting.

Profession... student. Steve is finding it hard to focus on his homework. He’d rather just smoke weed.

Interests... playing his favorite computer game. But without his dad who used to play the game with him, it’s not fun anymore. Learning how to drive, Steve is looking forward to his independence once he gets his driver’s license. 

Challenge... getting closure. The driver involved in the accident hasn’t been caught yet, and there are so many questions that remain unanswered. Charlie’s teenage angst is made that much worse from the anger he has over his dad’s death. And he often takes out that frustration on his mom. 

Personality... confident, determined, and cynical. Steve has a lot of confidence and wants to be in the middle of everything. He can be immature and irresponsible, but then again he’s only 16 and he has a few things going on.
