Celia Hodes

Living… as a jaded housewife in Agrestic, CA. She’s always one bad day away from unleashing the Celia of old – “high on ‘ludes. Queen of the roller disco.”

Profession… stay-at-home mom. She is a no-nonsense mother who ships her daughter Quinn off to Mexico for filming her father Dean cheat on Celia with a tennis pro. She frequently makes fun of her other daughter Isabelle for being overweight, and when Isabelle fails to lose weight she puts laxatives in her chocolates. Although content to spend her days lording over her household, she has dreams of running for public office one day.

Interests…  drinking morning, noon, and night. Orange juice and vodka usually does the trick, at about a 1:1 ratio. She describes herself as a “mean drunk,” but she is also a mean sober person.

Relationship Status… married to her lawyer husband Dean Hodes, though their marriage is running fumes at this point. They are constantly at each other’s throats.

Challenge… beating breast cancer. After her diagnosis, Celia is forced to reevaluate her life and the way she treats people. She undergoes a double mastectomy, and is determined to change her life and chill out a bit. Though her friends doubt her newfound peace will last long.

Personality… shallow, stuck-up, and back-stabbing. Celia is a narcissistic manipulator who micromanages her life in hopes of projecting an image of suburban perfection. She’s too busy plotting the lives of those around her to reflect on her own.
