Grew up… as her dad’s drinking buddy. Cassie only remembers flashes of childhood; living with her father and brother wasn’t easy. She’s running from something, but she can’t remember what from.
Living… in New York City. Cassie lives alone in a downtown apartment. She frequents local bars and doesn’t like to be alone. Her best friend is Annie Mouradian, but Cassie begins to realize that even her closest friends don’t really know her.
Profession… flight attendant. Cassie works flights for Imperial Airlines, supervised by a friend Megan Briscoe. Her coworkers are lively. Her destinations are exotic. What could go wrong?
Interests… vodka, gin, and bourbon. Cassie uses alcohol to cope with every aspect of her life. Every night she goes to bed drunk, and it usually doesn’t take long the next day before she’s reaching for another travel size bottle of Smirnoff.
Challenge… clearing her name. Her latest work trip had her stay overnight in Bangkok. It didn’t go well. Cassie doesn’t remember much of the night, but when she wakes up, she finds herself entangled in something far more grotesque than airplane toilets.
Relationship status… single. Cassie meets men easily at bars and says goodbye just as easily the next morning. But her latest fling ended abruptly, and Cassie is left wondering what could have possibly happened.
Personality… charming, talkative, and neurotic. Cassie is outgoing and has a friendly face, but often her relationships stay at the surface. Her drunkenness has led her to say some harsh things, and as Cassie falls deeper into addiction, she becomes increasingly unstable.
