Carol Lipton

Overview… a Manhattan urbanite who lives with her husband Larry in a spacious mid-town apartment. Carol left her job in publishing years ago and she’s been having difficulty figuring out where to direct her attentions. With her son off at Brown University, she’s finding that all this time on her hands is beginning to drive her a bit crazy. Carol has always dreamt of starting her own restaurant, but lately her attention has been captured by her mysterious neighbors. She seems to think that the bland man who lives in the apartment across the hallway has murdered his wife. Larry accuses her of idle gossip, but she seems to think that she’s on the trail of a cold-blooded killer.

Personality… excitable, curious, and a bit bored. Carol has sophisticated tastes, loving opera and socializing. She is also a bit of a busybody, wanting always to be in the middle of things. But she may have gotten into more than she bargained for with her relationship with her neighbors.
