Character Analysis

Living… in Cousins Beach, North Carolina, with his mother Denise. It’s all he’s ever known, and he wants to change that. His mom works at the country club, which puts him in contact with a lot of teenagers wealthier than he is.
Profession… interning at a whale-watching boat.
Interests… marine biology. He is fascinated by the great unknown that is the ocean. Cam could easily (and enthusiastically) ramble about the immortality of jellyfish.
Relationship Status… single, but very interested in a girl named Belly who is spending the summer in his town. They first met at the seventh-grade Latin convention and were in a play together. He gave her his hoodie when she was cold, and he hopes that was an excuse to see her again.
Challenge… battling for the attention of Belly. Ever since reconnecting with her, he wants to spend all of his time with her.
Personality… charismatic, attentive, wholesome, and annoyingly understanding. If he gets upset, he’s not the type to take it out on others, and he is more of a well-wisher instead of a grudge-holder.
