Overview… Carvahall’s resident storyteller. He weaves fantastic tales of dragons, their Riders, and a time untouched by the tyranny of Galbatorix, the cruel and powerful king of Alagaesia. A local boy named Eragon seems strangely interested in these stories, especially the ones about dragons, and Brom is starting to suspect that he might be hiding something…
Personality… irritable but wise. Brom is prone to bouts of grouchiness, especially when Eragon starts sticking his nose into subjects that could get him in trouble with the imperial authorities. But who else can Eragon turn to for information? Brom seems to be the only person around who has ventured beyond the boundaries of the tiny village, and his knowledge of the world of the Riders is unparalleled.
