Overview... newly appointed priest of St. Nicholas Church in the Bronx. Times are changing for the Catholic Church in the early 1960s, and Father Flynn wants to embrace these changes. “We should be friendlier,” he tells the cynical Sister Aloysious, who suspects him of wrongdoing. Behind Father Flynn’s jovial and welcoming demeanor, however, may lie an unspeakable secret.
Personality... kind, open-hearted, and friendly. Father Flynn is popular with the students and staff at St. Nicholas, though Sister Aloysious can’t seem to shake her suspicions of him. Perhaps his tenderness is a mask to hide a dark truth.
