Grew Up… in a strange and humble town in Derry, Maine. Derry is not like any town. People die or disappear, six times the national average. And that’s just grown-ups, and kids are die at a higher rate. Through investigating weird local occurrences and evading mullet-sporting bullies, Bill founded the “Loser’s Club” with six other childhood friends of Derry.
Living… a tranquil life in England. But he has been abruptly summoned to his hometown by his old friend, Mike Hanlon. After twenty-seven years, he is back in Derry to fulfill the blood-pact promise made by the Loser’s Club. Each must return to protect the town and defeat supernatural foes when summoned, if strange supernatural events reoccur, with no exceptions.
Profession… bestselling author primarily known for his work in horror fiction. His best-regarded work is now under production to become a movie adaptation, with none other than his wife starring as the lead.
Interests… biking and papercrafts. While mostly forgotten amid adulthood, he is something of a silver bullet on a bike. Paper crafts are one of Bill’s more niche abilities. No one can make a paper boat as impressive as him.
Relationship Status… married to A-list actress and model, Audra Phillips. Upon his return to his hometown, however, it gets complicated once he’s reunited with his childhood sweetheart, Beverly Marsh.
Challenge… overcoming the death of his brother, Georgie. Back at his childhood house, Bill sees Georgie’s clothes and stuffed animals, constantly reminding him that Georgie isn’t there. Bill must overcome his guilt and make decisions that will lead him to defeat the monsters of his past once and for all. But he must first accept that he cannot face this battle alone. As he tells the other members of the Losers Club: “If we stick together, we win.”
Personality… headstrong, impulsive, and tormented. Bill will do anything in his power to protect those in his care, seemingly without a second thought. Bill is a true leader.
