Overview… a brilliant MIT senior who needs to find a way to pay Harvard Med School in full. His professor, Micky Rosa, answers his prayers by inviting Ben to join his blackjack team. And not only does this help with his tuition issue, but it also opens up the door to a life of excitement, luxury, and plenty of dazzle. The only problem: his new source of income requires card counting, and he better not get caught.
Personality… gifted and determined. Ben is a genius when it comes to numbers, and his math skills could pay off big time in a place like Vegas. However, counting cards isn’t just about summing up some numbers. Add in teamwork, a load of emotional stress, and the constant possibility of exposure, and suddenly the equation gets much more complicated. Nevertheless, Ben is dead-set on generating enough for his med school fees.

Ben Campbell is a young, highly intelligent, student at M.I.T. in Boston who strives to succeed. Wanting a scholarship to transfer to Harvard School of Medicine with the desire to become a doctor, Ben learns that he cannot afford the $300,000 for the four to five years of schooling as he comes from a poor, working-class background. But one evening, Ben is introduced by his unorthodox math professor Micky Rosa into a small but secretive club of five. Students Jill, Choi, Kianna, and Fisher, who are being trained by Professor Rosa of the skill of card counting at blackjack.
