Grew Up... on Spiral Mountain. Banjo the Honey Bear grew up in a small forest on Spiral Mountain where he currently lives with his friends and family.
Living... with Kazooie. Ever since they first met each other, Banjo and Kazooie the Red-Crested Breegull have been inseparable, literally, since she lives in his backpack. Her wings often come in handy during their more perilous expeditions.
Profession... adventurer. Although Banjo wanted a quiet life, occasionally he and Kazooie will go on adventures exploring the various other worlds around their home, like Gobi’s Valley and Rusty Bucket Bay, all while collecting countless golden Jiggies.
Interests… building vehicles. Banjo also happens to be an ace mechanic. He can build all kinds of fantastical vehicles from indestructible trucks to high-speed rockets depending on what the situation calls for.
Relationship Status... big brother. Aside from his relationship with Kazooie, Banjo’s little sister Tooty is the most important person in his life. He’ll do anything for her and risks his life to save her after she gets kidnapped.
Challenge... defeating Gruntilda. The evil, ugly witch Gruntilda Winkybunion envies Tooty’s beauty, so she kidnaps Banjo’s sister to steal it for herself. But Banjo and Kazooie aren’t going to let Old Grunty get away with it.
Personality... polite. Banjo is a kind, well-mannered bear, even if he is a little slow. This makes him the perfect counterpart to the excitable, impulsive, and slightly egotistical Kazooie.

A bear named Banjo needs the help of his loyal friend Kazooie, a red feathered bird, to rescue his sister Tooty from a witch named Gruntilda. Gruntilda has created a machine that transfers one person's level of beauty to another, and plans to use it on Tooty, so she can steal her youthful good looks. Tooty is hidden within Gruntilda's lair, a strange collection of rooms that contain portals to mysterious environments, where new landscapes, new friends, and new foes are encountered. The layer contains magical doors that seal off certain rooms, stopping Banjo and Kazooie from finding Tooty. In order to open these doors, Banjo and Kazooie need to collect mysterious objects called notes, which exist within the mysterious environments. Collecting enough of these notes will give them the power to open the magical doors.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts is an action-adventure/vehicle construction/platformer video game developed by Rare and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It was first announced at the X06 Media Briefing. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts is the third installment in the Banjo-Kazooie series and takes place eight years after Banjo-Tooie.
