Grew up... with parents he loves. But he hasn't always appreciated them the way he probably should have.

Visiting... Moab, Utah, to the Horseshoe Canyon Trailhead. He didn't tell anyone he was going there. He didn't even tell his parents when they called last night, because he didn't pick up the phone. Now he is in alone among the red dust, the massive cliffs, and the incredible blue sky. 

Interests... climbing mountains. As he says about his latest climb, "I've been moving towards this rock my entire life. The minute I was born, every breath I've taken, every action has been leading me to this crack on the earth's surface."

Relationship status… single. He is a good-looking guy who does well with women. During his trip, he even convinced two cute girls who were lost to jump in the lake with him. But they have moved on.

Challenge... survival. His arm has been stuck in the rock without circulation for 24 hours. He tried chipping away at the rock to get his arm out, but that didn’t work. So he is waiting for someone to come along. And hopefully, that will be before his water and food run out. He knows that he could die here if he’s not rescued – unless he figures out some other way to get free.

Personality... a loner. He likes nothing better than being alone in the wilderness. He is also cocky, but apparently he shouldn't be. He is learning his lesson the hard way.
