Overview… a young man being asked to mix the personal and professional in a novel way. The son of a wealthy family from Sitka, Alaska, Andrew always wanted to make his own way in the world. A bookish kid, he dreamed of becoming an editor. That dream, though, has been painful to fulfill. His boss, Margaret Tate, may be the most difficult woman in the world to deal with. When the Canadian-born Margaret runs into immigration issues, however, she sees Andrew (her assistant) as the answer to her problem. Namely, if the two get married, then she can stay in the United States.
Personality… ambitious and independent. Andrew goes along with Margaret’s nuptial plans in order to further his career, become an editor, and get his book published. Now that he and Margaret are getting a bit closer – and he is gaining more power in their relationship – he’s had the opportunity to show her his sarcastic side.
