Amanda Woods

Overview… a hard-driving exec who runs a company that produces movie trailers in Los Angeles. When Amanda finds out that her boyfriend has been cheating on her with his 24-year-old secretary, she decides that she needs to get away and participates in a home swap with a woman in England named Iris Simpkins. Amanda goes to stay in a “quaint cottage in Surrey” for the holidays, where she meets and falls for suave single father Graham Simpkins – Iris’ brother.

Personality… overworked and stressed, but with hidden warmth and good humor. Amanda is taken off guard by the slow pace of life in Surrey. After her failed relationship (O.K., “relationships”) and her parents’ divorce when she was a teenager, she has trouble trusting men. But Amanda is trying to find the bravery to take a chance for new love.
