Overview... a poor girl from around 8 Mile, a road separating Detroit’s wealthy from the impoverished. She meets “B-Rabbit,” a young rapper, and soon takes a liking to him. He impresses her with his lyrical skills, and she helps him believe in himself and find courage as an artist.
Personality… sexy and a bit pushy, for better and worse. Alex usually gets her way. She’s a good ally to have because she will fight for you and support you during your worst times. She is quite quick to take on a new lover, but eventually this doesn’t bother B-Rabbit, and he starts to respect Alex for who she is.

The setting is Detroit in 1995. The city is divided by 8 Mile, a road that splits the town in half along racial lines. A young white rapper, Jimmy "B-Rabbit" Smith Jr summons strength within himself to cross over these arbitrary boundaries to fulfill his dream of success in hip hop. With future and the three one third all he has to do is not choke.
