Alex Whitman

Living…  in New York City in the 1990s. However, due to the nature of his work, Alex has to travel at times.

Profession… an architect. Alex was just recently sent to Las Vegas to oversee the construction of a nightclub that he helped design. However, unfortunately for him, he also treats his life like a new building project. He tends to over-plan everything, leaving nothing to chance.

Interests… architecture, and maintaining his balanced life. Alex is a slave to his obligations, and he’s something of a workaholic. When he goes to Las Vegas, he's more concerned about getting a liquor license due to zoning problems than getting drunk.

Relationship Status… single, for now anyway. While in Las Vegas, Alex has a one-night stand with a free-spirited, wild photographer, Isabel Fuentes. Although they don't seem compatible in the slightest and go their separate ways, the two meet up later when Isabel announces she's pregnant with his child. As a person who likes to plan and design his life, he has absolutely no clue as to what he should do.

Challenge… dealing with the sudden chaos of Isabel’s pregnancy. Alex feels that the right thing to do is to probably get married, but both of them begin to worry if they’re rushing through things. There are parents to meet and a marriage to arrange. And on top of that, Alex has to keep his job stable.

Personality… socially conservative, prudish, and uptight. Alex is almost the exact opposite of Isabel, who is way more adventurous and spontaneous. He’s spent his life planning every move and doesn’t take too well to unexpected things outside of the plan.
