Adonis "Donnie" Johnson Creed

Grew Up… in and out of juvenile corrective facilities. Donnie was a fighter, even in childhood, using his fists to speak his rage. One day, Mary Anne, the widow of heavyweight boxing champion Apollo Creed, visits Donnie and offers to adopt him into her wealthy home.

Living… on his own in Philadelphia. Donnie chooses to finally leave Mary Anne’s home and quit his cushy office job in hopes of pursuing a career in professional boxing like his father, Apollo Creed. Donnie has chosen Philadelphia specifically because of one man who lives there – the only man who could train Donnie to be as good, if not better than his father. And that man’s name is Rocky Balboa.

Profession… boxer. Even when Donnie was forcing himself to fit into a white-collar environment, he was still compelled to travel south to Mexico to fight in underground arenas. Now that he has left his office job behind, he can start training as a boxer full time.

Interests… fighting, avoiding his father’s shadow, break-neck training routines, early bed times, and running fast.

Relationship Status… casual. Donnie is a twenty-first century man, and he doesn’t jump into a relationship at the drop of the hat. However, when he meets Bianca, a musician who lives in his apartment building, he can’t help getting involved.

Challenge… live up to his father’s name. Donnie wants to keep his father’s identity a secret because he doesn’t want to be compared to him or to be given nepotistic media attention. But Donnie soon learns that his anger and confusion over his father’s fate is the same force that is driving his interest in the world of professional fighting.

Personality… determined, headstrong, and unrelenting. Donnie never gives up. If you tell him no, all he hears is yes. Rocky turns down Donnie’s requests for training – but Donnie won’t let him off the hook so easily. When Donnie wants something, he’s going to fight until he gets it.
