Overview… a sad, divorced man fast approaching middle-age. Adam wants to cheer up his alcoholic and depressed friend Lou, and perhaps himself, by taking an impromptu reunion weekend at the Kodiak Valley Ski Resort along with their other friend Nick and Adam’s nephew, Jacob. Alas, while Kodiak was once a haven for party-hearty young people, it’s now a dilapidated retreat. But somehow, Adam and his friends stumble onto a hot tub designated with special powers. After a night of heavy drinking in the Jacuzzi, they end up 20 years back in time, in 1986, on a fateful ski weekend.
Personality… lost, jaded, and yearning for his youth. Adam believes that he’s messed up his life. His latest girlfriend has left him, he works a dead-end job and he’s stuck with his nerdy 20-year-old nephew. Could life end up any more bleak? But maybe the time-traveling hot tub will provide a way to change his past, and thus his present.
