Overview... a woman who’s down on her luck. Abby, her younger sister Linda, and Abby’s lover Bill all move to Texas to work on a big farm in 1916 when Bill needs to flee from the law. Abby pretends to be Bill’s sister in order to woo the rich farmer – and once they’ve entered into this lie, there’s no easy way out.
Personality… quiet and composed. Abby is kind of a free spirit, floating on her whims and wherever Bill takes her. But Abby is also constantly worried about money, because they’re extremely poor, and she helps conjure up the plans that will hopefully free them of poverty forever.
