Aaron Mitchell

Living… in Kentwood, Michigan, with his sister Katie, and his parents. Aaron and Katie’s quirkiness fit perfectly together, and the two have become very close over the years. Now, though, Katie is leaving—intent on never coming back— and Aaron will be all alone. He asks Katie: “You know how velociraptors hunt in pairs? Well, what happens when one leaves the pack…?”

Interests… dinosaurs. Obsessed with the catastrophic beings, Aaron has yet to find anyone else who shares his interests. Not even Katie reciprocates his fascination. 

Relationship Status… single and awkward. Aaron is quite nervous around girls in general, especially those he’s interested in. Still, love can come from the most unexpected of places, and Aaron seems to have taken an interest in a girl next door, who herself is part of a family that is the complete opposite of the Mitchells’.

Challenge… making new connections. With Katie going, Aaron needs to figure out how to make new friends, which means putting himself out there, despite his fears. Still, a cross-country road trip is just what he needs to connect with Katie one last time before she leaves. Not even the end of the world can tear him apart from her. 

Personality… shy, intuitive, and, well, a nerd. While Aaron has yet to find a person other than his sister he truly connects with, it’s bound to happen eventually. Aaron’s wisdom beyond his years and humble personality makes for an incredible friend.
